About Us

The landscaping company now known as Austin Eagle Management Services, Ltd. was started in 1994 as Barton Creek Landscaping.  That company was purchased July 19, 1996 by David A. Ruehlman, owner of Austin Eagle Management Services.  Under the management of Mr. Ruehlman and David Ruehlman Jr., Operations Manager, we have successfully completed jobs in the Barton Creek Development area as well as other locations throughout the Austin area, several of which were valued in excess of one million dollars.

David A. Ruehlman
President

Mr. Ruehlman is formerly a Sr. Vice President of Rust-Lichliter-Jameson Engineering firm, now known as Earthtech.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in Forestry from Stephen F Austin University.  Mr. Ruehlman has been associated with the Barton Creek Project for nineteen years and has extensive management experience in the engineering, development and landscape profession and is a registered Professional Land Surveyor of Texas.

 

Glenn B. Beaver
Maintenance Manager

Mr. Beaver holds a degree in Agronomy from Western Texas College.  Mr. Beaver’s work history includes Assistant Superintendent for the golf course operation at Barton Creek Country Club and Superintendent at Austin Eagle Golf Academy.  Mr. Beaver has worked in the landscape industry since 1997.  Mr. Beaver is also a licensed Irrigator and holds a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License.

 

 

 

Michael C. Mroski
Irrigation Manager

Mr. Mroski brings his extensive knowledge, spanning twenty years, in the irrigation construction field.  Mr. Mroski is a licensed irrigator, LI# 8279.

Our projects include large-scale rock work, such as retaining walls with boulders and structural and non-structural rock walls, large-scale irrigation and landscape installation, maintenance for subdivisions, office complexes, entryways, common areas, waterfalls, water features and accent lighting.  Our services include irrigation and landscape maintenance including contracts with many of the residents in the Barton Creek Resort area, the Lantana Office Complex, as well as Barton Creek Retail East and West.
